Long Stays

We at The Cosy Doghouse specialise in long stays. Whether you're going on holiday, having some work done at your house, or any other reason why your dog might need some extra company, The Cosy Doghouse is the perfect place to board your dog. We pride ourselves on the 'home from home' feeling. We know that boarding your dog can be a stressful time for both you and your pet, so we endeavour to tailor your dog's stay to their needs, making it as comfortable as possible. 

If you're interested in boarding your dog with us at our comfortable home in Borehamwood, please email us at cosydoghouse@gmail.com with the dates of your pet's stay. When boarding with us for the first time, we will ask you to complete couple of short forms. This includes a form about your dog to ensure they are sutible to board with us, and a vet release form. We then may ask to meet your dog in a neutral or comfortable place for your pet. We do this to ensure your dog can be boarded with us, and to let your dog get used to us. After that, we will book in your dog for the dates we have avalible.

We can pick up and drop off your dog, free for local dogs if booking for 5+ days stay. Otherwise £5 each way. For dogs further afield, please contact us to arrange collection.

We ask that owners provide food for their dog's stay with us. We can accomodate raw fed dogs. As we are first aid trained, we are happy to administer medication.

As we aim to care for your dog as you would, no dog is crated unless instructed by owner.
