The Cosy Doghouse is a family run business operating from our home in Borehamwood. Simply we LOVE dogs.We have always kept dogs and they are an essential part of our family life. Our business grew out of looking after friends and family dogs while they were away on holiday or for long weekends as they didn’t want to put them into kennels. We loved it so much we decided to make it our business. We offer many services including doggie daycare, long and short staycations, weekends and dog walking.
We work closely with you and your dog so you both feel comfortable, happy and ‘at home’. At the Cosy Dog House we are DBS checked, insured and trained in canine first aid.

After finishing University, I became the go-to person for my family and friends to look after their dogs, so my Mum and I decided to turn it into a business. I adore animals, looking after dogs and volunteering at a horse sanctuary at the weekends.

Our home from home dog boarding service is a great way to leave your doggie friend in our cosy family home rather than putting them in kennels. We specialise in both short term and long term stays and offer long weekend breaks. Leave your dog with us in our family home and they will enjoy walks, rest, playtime, cuddles. We tailor the care to your dogs needs and rest assured they have company all the time. We walk out twice a day in the woods and fields and they always have access to the secure garden.

The Cosy Doghouse is the place to be for your dog while you are at work or away for the day. We walk out in all weathers (as long as its safe). If your dog is with us for the full day they will be walked twice. We walk out in the woods and fields and once they come back they can enjoy a rub down and brush then naps and cuddles or playtime in the garden with toys.

We offer a walking service throughout the day and all year round. No matter the weather, we are happy to take your dogs for a walk. We can tailor the walk to suit your dog's age, breed and level of socialisation. As experienced dog walkers we can arrange for a one to one walk, or group walk, with dogs off and on the lead. Group walks can be up to five dogs at a time, which is great for socialising. We walk in some beautiful areas, which are fulfilling and safe places for your dog to explore.

8 hours normal day. Additional charges will apply for an extended day. Collection and drop off service available starting at £5 each way.
