Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at cosydoghouse@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

If you are looking to book with us for the first time, drop us an email or give us a call. If you email, we will likely suggest scheduling a phone call so we can have a good chat about your requirements. If we can meet your requirements, we will discuss booking you in for a meet and greet.

A meet and greet is a chance for you and your pet to come over to our house, check out where your dog will be staying, and meet us. To be able to attend the meet and greet, you must provide proof the your dog is fully vaccinated.

Once we have had the meet and greet, we can schedule in a trial day/stay for your dog. This is an opportunity for your dog to get used to the environment, and staying with us. We also need to see how your dog is overnight, if your dog will be boarding with us. We are happy to have as many trial stays/days as you'd like. Some owners with more nervous dogs, or those with separation anxiety often do multiple trials to get their dogs comfortable with us before their stay.

If the trial goes well, we will then book your dog in for their stay/daycare.

If your dog has stayed with us before, you can book with us through whatsapp or email.

We are licenced to board up to 5 dogs at a time. This includes daycare too.

We have had many different sizes and breeds of dogs stay with us. We will not turn a dog down based on size. Our only criteria is that we must be able to walk and control the dog, to ensure the safety of ourselves, other dogs, and your dog.

There are certain breeds we cannot board due to our insurance.

Unfortunately, we cannot board or provide daycare to dogs under the age of 1 years old. All dogs that we board must be over 1 years old, and spayed or neutered.

All dogs that board with us must be spayed or neutered.

We are unable to provide emergency or last minute bookings for new clients, as we are required by our licence to have a meet and greet, and trial stay/day with all dogs before we can book them in.

In some instances, we can take emergency or last minute bookings from our regular clients, though due to our capacity and how busy we get, we may not have the space to take on dogs unexpectedly.

7pm is the latest time you can pick up or drop off your dog with us for boarding and daycare. This is so we have plenty of time to wind the dogs down for bedtime, and reduce noise for our neighbours.
